Dennis F. Roberts

Dennis F. Roberts, age 57, passed away on October 4, 2014. He was born on October 15, 1957 to Nancy and Thomas Roberts in Columbus, Ohio.

Dennis graduated from Ohio State University. He worked for many years in the Mortgage Lending Dept., presently at Fifth Third Bank. Dennis loved golfing, cycling, hiking, camping, cross-country skiing and cheering on the Buckeyes. The most important thing to Dennis was his family. He married his wife, Kelly on October, 10, 1986. They had two beautiful daughters that he loved to brag about. Dennis was a devoted husband and "proud papa." To his daughters, he was their "rock" and "hero" and they had an unbreakable bond.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife and best friend of 28 years, Kelly; daughters, Gabrielle and Haley; loving parents; sisters, Janet and Melanie (Mike) Yaufman; special father and mother-in-law, Brian and Geri Heil; brother-in-law and best friend, Brian "Bunk" (Jackie) Heil; brother-in-law, Brad (Pam) Heil; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; many cousins; childhood friend, Mark Burke; the "Cub Lake Campfire Crew" and his dog, "Lyla."

The family will receive guests from 3-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends may visit from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
