Dennis F. Keller

Dennis F. Keller, age 70, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on June 12, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.

Dennis is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Christine (Best) Keller; son, Dennis W. (Kimberly) Keller and daughter, Marisa (Brian) Keller Bailitz; grandsons, Owen, Parker and Archie. He is also survived by brothers, Richard (Carol), Donald and David (Judy) and dear friend, Richard Wittenberg. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Blanche (Kromenacker) and Frank Keller and his lifelong best friend, Robert E. Knight.
Dennis attended Blessed Sacrament Grade School, Central Catholic High School (Class of 1963), graduated from the University of Toledo and the University of Toledo Law School. Dennis worked as an attorney for 40 years, primarily in the areas of estate planning, estate administration and probate.

He was a pioneer in the area of special needs trusts. Dennis was a devoted member of Hope Lutheran Church. He traveled to places near and far on numerous mission trips. Dennis volunteered his time to many charitable organizations and was proud of his service to the community. He was a devoted Christian and family man. "Well done, good and faithful servant."

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dennis F. Keller Scholarship Fund at the University of Toledo Foundation.

The family will receive guests from 4-8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Memorial Service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 915 Reynolds Rd.
