Dennie Parks

Dennie W. Parks, age 78, of Toledo, passed away Monday, August 8, 2005, at his home. He was born on January 13, 1927 to Vivian Whittington and Myrtle (Tester) Parks in Saltville, Virginia. Dennie was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII. He was an inspector for 47 years with the Acklin Stamping Co.
Dennie is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Julia; sisters: Helen Miedema, of York, Maine, Vivian Ward, of Vilas, N.C. Evelyn Ward, of Toledo, Betty Presnell, of Toledo; brother: John E. Guy, of Kittery, Maine; and many dear nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dennie was preceded in death by his 2 brothers and 1 sister.
The family will receive guests on Friday, August 12, 2005 from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300), where a Funeral Service will take place on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
