Denise R. Short, resident of Toledo, OH, passed away on April 27, 2024 at age 63. She is survived by her son, Kaleb (Erin) Short; grandchildren, Dale Short, Natalie Short, Matthew Villareal and Alexander Villareal; siblings, Dawn Doty, Jason (Carmen) Kelly, Kelly (Keith) Tabbert; and her loving canine companion, Fluffy.

Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Joyce Kelly, as well as her husband Dale H. Short and her sister, Darcy Watt.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A memorial gathering will be on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., with a memorial service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43614.
