Delton Stewart

Delton Clyde "Del" Stewart, age 58, of Oregon, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born July 10, 1950 to Jessie and Aupolene (Rainey) Stewart in Cullman, Alabama. Del worked as a manager for many years with JCPenney, Hillcrest Hotel and Furniture Crafts. He was an avid photographer and golfer. Del was a wonderful cook and loved eating his cooking. He always enjoyed a good time with his friends and cherished time spent with his nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Keith Mominee. Del is survived by his loving siblings, Dennis Stewart, Margie (Eddie) Schultz and Ann (Cleo) Mominee; nephews, David, Mark and Brian Schultz and Kevin Mominee; and many aunts, uncles and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday from 1 – 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 3:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Roy Pickett.
