Delphine M Zielaskowski, a beloved mother, wife and sister, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 31, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio, the city where she was born on May 15, 1927. She was 97 years old.
Delphine was a dedicated general assembly worker for DeVilbiss Manufacturing Company, contributing her talents and hard work to the company for an impressive forty-two years. Her commitment was not just evident in her career but also in the relationships she cherished.
A true Toledoan at heart, Delphine had a vibrant personality that drew people toward her. She had a love for attention and a passion for spending time with her family. Whether gathered around the dining room table or seated at the casino, where she enjoyed the thrill of the games, Delphine always brought light and laughter into the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Her joyful spirit often shone through in the moments spent playing pinochle with her sisters, who have since passed but remained close to her heart.
Delphine's legacy will continue through her daughter, Nancy Hames, and her several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members. Each of them carries a piece of her warmth and the joy she instilled during her lifetime. Her loving husband, Raymond Zielaskowski, who predeceased her, will welcome her in the embrace of everlasting love.
As we remember Delphine, let us carry forward her love for family and friends, her indomitable spirit, and her gentle way of touching lives. She will be dearly missed, but her memory will be forever cherished by all who had the privilege to spend time with her.
Delphine was a private person, and per her request, there will be no services at this time.
