Delores Ann Gosik

Delores entered this world on May 18, 1934, born to Maxwell and Pauline (Cavinder) Bennett of Haviland, Ohio. Delores was better known to her family and friends as either Doke or Dee. For many years Delores made a career of caring for the elderly. A career she performed with compassion in her heart and a deep passion for the job. Delores enjoyed spending time with family and friends and had a number of hobbies such as reading, working word games and puzzles, and playing cards. She also enjoyed working in the kitchen, cooking and baking. In addition, she was an avid viewer of The Price Is Right and Wheel of Fortune. Delores was called home to the Lord on July 22, 2022, and will be deeply missed by all.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Maxwell and Pauline (Cavinder) Bennett; first husband, Roger Snyder; husband, Edward C. Gosik Sr.; brother, Dennis Bennett; sister, Garnet Roush; grandson, Christopher R. Gosik; and great-granddaughter, StarLeana M. Gosik.

Delores is survived by brother, Gary Bennett (Rosie) of Payne, OH; sister, D'Nell Edwards (Paul) of Haviland, OH; daughter, Diane Snyder of Van Wert, Ohio; daughter, Tammy Kuhn; son, Kurt Kuhn; son, Edward C. Gosik Jr. (Julia Cutcher) of Toledo, Ohio; daughter, Donna B. Seamon (Luke) of Fremont, Ohio; daughter, Dawn D. Gosik of Port Clinton, Ohio; son, Kenneth A. Gosik (Lisa Matthews) of Toledo, Ohio; and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be a Memorial Picnic held at Independence Dam State Park, 27722 County Road 424 Defiance, OH 43512 on Sunday, August 14, 2022, from Noon - 6:00 pm. All are welcome to come share her favorite summer activity.
