Delano Wells Jr., age 22, resident of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022. He was born on June 2, 1999, in Oregon, Ohio.
Delano loved his family; he was a great leader and protector. He loved candy especially gum, mints, and fruit snacks. He was very passionate about movies, especially horror and marvel movies. In middle school he played football, for McKinley Broncos, earning "All League Honors". While attending Start High School in Toledo, he was an honor roll student (3.5+ GPA) and was a member of the National Honor Society. He was in kickboxing and boxing, finishing with a 1-0 record winning his only fight with a 24 second knock out. While attending Cedar Grove High School in Atlanta, he was in ROTC and worked his first job at Little Cesar's Pizza. Before he passed, he was focusing on his acting and movie production. He was working at M&W Distribution in Atlanta as a forklift operator.
He was proceeded in death by grandfathers, Edgar Wells Jr. & Simone Mitchell, grandmothers Sandra Wells & Florence Ahrens, uncle, Tyrone Martin, and aunt Jasmine Ahrens.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his mother, Cheryl Wells; bonus mom Lyndsie Wells; father, Delano Wells (Lyndsie); siblings, Astasia Jamison, Kassandra Wells, Denvyr Grace, Terrell Evans Jr., and Izaiah Wells; aunts, Darsha Wells (Richard), Darlene Wells, Tamica Ahrens, Tangela Ahrens; uncle, Tyree Ahrens; nieces and nephews, Amare, Kassidy, Cameryn, Celeb, Cahlani; special cousin (brother), Nick Willis Jr.; special friend, Isaac Lelonek; and a host of very close great-aunts and great-uncles, family and friends and he loved them all.
