Defoe H. Logan, age 81, of Toledo, passed away April 18, 2017 at his home. He was born February 19, 1936 in Stearns, Kentucky to Giddeon and Nerva (Sellers) Logan. Defoe was a heavy equipment operator for Local 18. He was a very giving person who helped many in need. Defoe loved his scratch off lottery tickets. He was an excellent teacher of life especially to his family.
Defoe is survived by his sons, Nicholas J. Spears and Mike (Kryss) Logan; brother, Warren (Marilyn) Logan and sister, Novella Burkett. In addition to his parents Defoe was preceded in death by his children, Annette Logan, Mark Logan and Robert Logan.
Private family services were held.
