Debra L. Cherry

Debra L. Cherry, aged 60, passed away suddenly at her home on Monday, July 8, 2024. She was born on January 8, 1964, to Clarence Sr. and Georgia Cherry. Debra had a passion for collecting salt and pepper shakers and elephants. She cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family, enjoying activities like playing cards, poker, and camping. Her love for cooking will always be remembered.

She leaves behind her children, Danielle Cheatum (Jeffery) and Mentha Cheatum; her grandchildren, Alyissa, Murianna, Isaiah, Jeffery, and Jackson; and her two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Georgia Warmath (Jesse Alfaro), Clarence “Marty” Cherry, June “Beth” Cherry (Keith Dolberry), Sue Lynn Cherry, Michael Cherry, and Karen Cherry; her stepmother, Linda Cherry; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Sr. and Georgia Cherry; her brother, Mark Cherry; and her life partner, Crescent Cheatum.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
