Deborah Suzanne Mangotic, age 60, of Toledo, passed away October 1, 2009 at Heartland of Holly Glen, after a 2 year illness of MSA.
Deborah was born, April 27, 1949 in Toledo. She graduated from Bowling Green State University. Following college, Deborah pursued her interests in acting, modeling, music and art. Over the years, she lived in San Diego, Santa Monica, and Las Vegas, where she worked in the marketing industry. Some of Deborah's talents included, creative writing, poetry, lyric and melody writing, graphic design and painting. She was also a published author of 3 books and 2 CD's. Deborah will be remembered as a delightful person who loved everything about life, nature and was very accepting of others.
Deborah was a proud friend of Bill W. for 4 ½ years. Thanks to all those who made her feel loved and worthy of God's love.
Preceding her in death was her grandmother, Emma 'Gammy' Linden, and Deborah's partner of 20 years, Bill Douglas.
Survivors include, her parents Frank and Doris (Linden) Mangotic of Toledo; siblings Jackie (Bob) Durell of Toledo, Judy (Ray) Compton of Titusville, FL, Barbara (Derek) Rogers of Los Angeles, CA, Frank (Shelly) Mangotic of Wauseon, Tom (Hilda) Mangotic of Monclova; god-son, Rob Durell; god-daughter, Alexsandra Mangotic and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests, Sunday, October 11, 2009 from 4-6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
