Deborah Ann (Glover) Rockett aka "Popcorn", age 70, passed away peacefully Friday, February 5, 2021 in her home with her husband Floyd Rockett by her side. She was born on September 30, 1950 to Clifford and Noleda (Braggs) Glover in Toledo, Ohio. Deborah attended Gunckel Elementary and graduated from Libbey High School. She furthered her education at the University of Toledo, Owens Technical School and Stautzenberger Colleges. Deborah worked at St. Vincent Hospital and the United States Post Office until she retired. She shared her time with a group of ladies on their once a month outings. Deborah enjoyed shopping, traveling, her family, going to church and spending time with all of her grandchildren. She worked with the nurses on the usher board as well as other capacities in the church. Deborah was a willing worker in the church. She had a huge heart and a smile to go along with it and would help anyone she could. Deborah grew up in Union Grove Baptist Church, and attended St. Mark Baptist Church under Rev. I.J. Johnson. Later, she united with St. Mary Baptist Church under the late Rev. Frank Love, presiding Pastor, Rev. Robert Lyons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Braggs; 2 brothers, Donald and Ronald Glover; and grandson, Johnathan Williams. Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Floyd Rockett; sons, Darrell Reid and Alton Reid; brothers, Harold Glover, of Toledo, OH, Timothy Glover and Darryl (Karen) Glover, both of Los Angeles, CA; half-brother, Freddie Glover; sisters, Varetta Glover, Carolyn Glover, Yvonne Glover and Carla Glover, all of Toledo, OH; half-sisters, Shirley Hogue, Sandra Martin and Gladys Garland, all of Toledo, OH; special daughter she never had, her niece, Shevella Pettaway; special uncle, Hubert Glover; 2 brothers-in-law; 7 sisters-in-law; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

The family will receive guests on Monday, February 15, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, 416 Belmont Ave., Toledo, OH 43604 with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00 p.m. in church.
