Deborah A. Poddany

Deborah A. Poddany, age 61, of Toledo, passed away January 14, 2017 at her home. She was born November 3, 1955 in Toledo to Joseph and Margaret Podbielniak. Deborah was employed in customer service with Aetna for 13 years, and Medical Mutual for more than 15 years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, gambling and her dogs.

Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Richard A. Poddany; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Lydia Poddany; brothers-in-law, Joe (Sue) Poddany and Jim Poddany and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her sister Diane Podbielniak.

The family will receive guests, Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). A Memorial Service will be held Thursday at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Area Humane Society in Deborah's memory.
