Deborah Jean Auger, 59 of Toledo, Ohio was at home surrounded by her loving family when she lost her brief battle with cancer, Saturday, June 29, 2013. She will be joining her mother, Doris Bills, her grandmother Ester Farlee, her Uncle Jerry and her grandson Gabriel. She was born to Larry & Doris Bills on July 6, 1953 at Toledo Hospital. She married Kenneth Auger, Sr on October 21, 1972.
She was a hair stylist for 30 years, which she had great passion and fulfillment making people look beautiful. She worked at Sheila & Company for the last 19 years and also at Wolf Creek Lutheran Home.
Debbie loved to cook, crochet, camp & she was an avid Miami Dolphins & Ohio State Buckeye fan, she especially loved to travel with Ken. Her family was the most important thing to her. She was always willing to help out a friend whenever they needed her no matter the situation was.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Ken, daughters, Angela (Brian) Carr, Dawn (Ken) Palmer, son, Ken Jr
(Laurie), grandchildren, Kendra, Kayla, Amber, Dakota, Zachary, Abigayle, Brittnee, Lindsi, her father Larry Bills, sister Linda, brothers, Michael, Butch and many Aunts and Uncles.
She was such a wonderful & loyal friend to everyone she met, she will be greatly missed. Deb never said good-bye, so we will just say see you later, because one day we will all be together.
The family would like to thank the nurses Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their support and care in her final days.
Friends may call from 2pm – 8pm Tuesday, July 2, 2013 with services on Wednesday July 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home 4150 West Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH.
Final resting place with be at Toledo Memorial Park 6382 Monroe St, Sylvania, Ohio.
Contributions in lieu of flowers should be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio and or Cancer Research.
