Debora L. Trevino

Debora L. Trevino, age 64, of Toledo, passed away December 30, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Debora was born July 25, 1959 in Toledo to Robert and Esther (Wagner) Tierney.

She was a graduate of Libbey High School and was a proud south ender, she lived on the south side of Toledo. Debora enjoyed yard work, taking care of her plants, watching T.V., loved her dog Buddy and multiple cats. Over the years, she even took in the multiple stray cats to look over.

Debora married her long time partner Ernest Trevino on December 19, 2008. Their love story is one of two hard headed people that found away to make life work. They both enjoyed their date nights and spending time together . She retired from Holland Janitorial in 2020 after her hip surgery.

Preceded in death by Debora were her parents and brothers; Michael Tierney, Mark Tierney, Manuel (Carla) Trevino and Raymond Trevino.

Surviving Debora is her loving husband of fifteen years, Ernest Trevino; brothers: Daniel (Cindy) Tierney, David (Robin) Tierney, Gilbert (Wanda) Trevino, Richard (Bonnie) Trevino, David (Barb) Trevino, Oscar (Linda) Trevino, Joe (Denise) Trevino, Mark Trevino, and Carlos Trevino; Sisters: Michelle Holewinski, Carmen (Phil) Urbina; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home Northwest, 4150 West Laskey Road, (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 4:00 pm. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Debora's memory to The Humane Society for their rescue cat programs.
