Deanna Jean Dellinger-Drake

 After battling Dementia for over a decade, Deanna Jean Dellinger – Drake passed away on the morning of Tuesday, December 10, 2024 in her home at the age of 83. 

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Viola Dellinger, along with her brother, David Dellinger, and multiple furbabies. 

 Deanna is survived by her daughter, Dawn Drake, and grandkitty, Sasha; son, David (Marie) Drake Jr. and grandchildren Natalie, Alissa, Justin, and granddog, Biscuit. 

 Deanna was a 1959 graduate of DeVilbiss High School. Performing clerical duties at State Auto, Roemer Insurance, and MS Distributors were some of her more prominent employers. 

 Deanna had a love of music. She enjoyed attending live performances, viewing Gaither Gospel DVDs, and had a whole repertoire of songs she sang to her children when they were young. She was a former member of Sweet Adeline’s Pride of Toledo Chorus for many years. From a young age, sewing was Deanna’s passion. She also enjoyed attending church, crocheting, and reading. Donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses, SouthernCare Hospice, or MemoryLane Care Services. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 3pm-7pm at Newcomer West Sylvania, 3655 King Road. The funeral service will take place Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 11am at Newcomer West Sylvania, followed by burial service at Toledo Memorial Park.
