Dean "Deano, Grandpa DeDe" was born on Feburary 09, 1945 to Richard and Dorothy Stewart in Pittsburgh, PA. Dean passed away on Wednesday July 25th following a lengthly illness under the care of his loving Family and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
He was a Navy Veteran who proudly served his country including a tour of duty in Vietnam. Dean was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed golf and Nascar. He retired from Tarta after driving for over 30 years.
Dean is survived by Daughters, Amy Lyn Lanahan and Beth Ann (Kenneth) Blackford; his companion, Mary Fetzer who often called him Clyde; Grand-daughters, Ashley and Hailey Blackford; Grandson, Blaine Lanahan; Brothers, Richard (Jane) of Somerset, PA and Jimmy (Camille) of McMury, PA; Sister, Kim (Frank) Heltman of Castle Shannon, PA; Sister- in-Law, Eileen Stewart of Huron, OH; and his former wife and mother of his two daughters Kathleen (James) Warren of Maumee. Dean was preceded in death by both of his parents and brother Phil.
Per his wishes there will be no service. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at the families home on Saturday, July 28, 2018 . Anyone wishing to honor Dean may make a contribution to either Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Toledo Area Humane Society.
