Deacon William L. Lochotzki

Deacon William L. "Bill" Lochotzki, age 91, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Otterbein Pemberville. He was born June 4, 1933 in Fremont, OH to Frank and Leonarda (Gerber) Lochotzki. Bill served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed as a Senior Computer Systems Analyst for over 30 years with Owens Illinois, retiring in 1989. Bill was ordained as a Deacon of the Diocese of Toledo in 1983, and served at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church for 30 years. He was an avid sports fan and golfer.

In addition to his parents, Bill was also preceded in death by his sister, Rose Marie LeJeune. He is survived by his loving wife, Jean M. (Harlett) Lochotzki; children, Kim Evans, Lori (Russ) Goad, Steven Lochotzki and Luann (Jerry) Colley; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and his brother, Charles Lochotzki as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests, Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King, 4100 Harvest Lane Catholic Church, Toledo, Ohio. The Funeral Mass will follow at Christ the King Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with The Most Reverend Daniel E. Thomas Bishop of Toledo presiding. Burial will be private at a later date at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
