David York

David V. York , age 76, of Toledo, passed away January 2, 2016 at Point Place Care and Rehabilitation. David was born August 18, 1939 in Jellico, TN to Pearl (Williams) Lindsay. He retired from Noneman Reality. David enjoyed creating Native American jewelry and artifacts, as well as hunting and fishing. David served his country honorably in the US Army and had the distinction of serving in the Honor Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. David enjoyed spending time with his family, especially at family reunions.

David was preceded in death by his dad, Hobart Lindsay and his sister, Rachel. He is survived by his Daughters, Terri York and Tammy York, Son, Robert York, Mother, Pearl Lindsay, Cousin, Elizabeth A. Daniels, 3 Grandchildren; Rachel, Lia, and Michelle, and numerous cousins and other family members.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:00 am. at the funeral home followed by the burial at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
