David T. Winsper was born August 6, 1952 to Roy and Coletta (Hist) Winsper in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio.
When David moved to Toledo, he started making many good friends immediately and they all enjoyed his sense of humor, bad jokes and infectious laughter. David was also known for caring about the welfare of those in need. As an avid fan of fresh food, every Saturday morning he would be at the Toledo Farmer's Market for his weekly supply of fresh produce.
Dave made his living as a handyman who could build or fix just about anything. He was particularly skilled in the construction trade. Many of Toledo's downtown drinking establishments showcase his work, including replacing the facade of Hooterville Station. His circle of good friends was wide throughout the community.
David was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, Edward (Gail DiPerna) Winsper and sister, Sara Winsper. He also leaves behind his close friend, Duane Marshall.
David may be gone, but he will forever be in the hearts of those who knew him.
A Private Service will be held at a future date.
