David Ross, Sr.

David Ross, Sr., age 52 of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 11, 2012. He was born on February 14, 1960 to Joel P. Ross, Sr. and Janet C. (Haney) Ross in Baltimore, Maryland. David was a kind-hearted man who would open his heart and home to anyone who may have been in need. His family will remember him for his great sense of humor and how he never met a stranger. He also was a strong believer in God.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents; step-father, Jerry Hollins; children, Tory Kittrell, DaVida Ross and David C. Ross, Jr.; granddaughter, Katorya; siblings, Joel Ross, Jr., Pensacola Ross, Jacquelyn Egger, Dennis Ross, Paul Ross, Sophia Lloyd and Jarvell Ross.

The family will receive guests on Friday from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral services will begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Church of New Covenant Baptist of Toledo, 3864 Jackman Rd., Toledo, Ohio. There will be one hour of visitation on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the church.
