David E. Richards
David E. Richards, age 42, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2006 at the Toledo Hospital. He was born June 14, 1963 in Toledo. David was a 1981 graduate of Ottawa Hills High School and went on to attend Ohio University. He was also the former manager of Heirloom Antiques in Ventura, California. David was very interested in art and literature and the interaction of music and popular culture. He always wanted to travel to London and experience the English lifestyle.
David is survived by his mother and step-father, Marjory and Lloyd Wilkin; grandparents, A. Marjory Petrarca and Ralph (Irene) Petrarca; step-brothers, Phillip Wilkin; Paul (Jan) Wilkin and their daughters, Emily and Katy and Stephen (Stacey) Wilkin and their sons, Jonan and Elisha; uncle, James (Sandy) Petrarca and their children, Vincent, Dante and Allison and a large extended family.
Friends and relatives are invited to come together Friday at 4:00 p.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church (Central Ave. & Valleyview) to celebrate David's life. A reception will immediately follow at the church.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to WGTE, Public Television in Toledo.
