David R. Bryant

David R. Bryant, age 65, of Toledo, passed away October 29, 2013 at University of Toledo Medical Center. David was born May 17, 1948 in Huntington, West Virginia to Robert and Bernice (Clary) Bryant. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. David was employed with Medical Mutual of Ohio for more than 25 years retiring in 2010. He traveled and sang with the Calvaryland Quartet and New Direction Quartet and Ministries for over 35 years.

David is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lynnette K. (Burnside) Bryant; son, Jereme David (Angela) Bryant; grandsons, Isaac David Bryant and Jeremiah James Bryant; step grandchildren, Austin Michael Clapp and Autumn Marie Clapp; sister, Lorraine A. (Gregory) Keel; aunt and uncle Rosalie and Carl Chadwick; cousins, nieces and nephews, and special friend, Peggy Stalder.

The family will receive guests Sunday, November 3, 2013 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). The family will also receive guests Monday, November 4, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 10:00 a.m. at Heritage Church of God, 3520 Strayer Road, Maumee, Ohio, with Pastor Robert Fry officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Township Cemetery.
