David Lee Peters

David Lee Peters, age 31, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017. He was born on April 23, 1985 to Ronald and Beverly (Schlachter) Peters in Toledo. David was a 2003 graduate of Whitmer High School. One of David's passions was working on and racing Ford Mustang's with his brother, Jeff and friend, Will. There were many memories made and laughs shared between the three of them. His pride and joy was his little girl, Adilyn Rose Peters, whom he loved more than she'll ever know. David's family will remember him as a loving son, brother and father who had a genuine heart that would be willing to help anyone in need. His personality, smile and sense of humor will never be forgotten and be missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Ron and Bev Peters; daughter, Adilyn Rose Peters; sister, Jaime (Matt) LaPoint; brother, Jeff (Lisa) Peters; grandparents, Richard (Elma) Schlachter; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and "special friends, Will and Marcus." Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Otto (Mary) Peters.

Services will be held in April at a later date.
