David Lowell Moore

David Lowell Moore, age 74, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 27, 1946 and raised by the late Charles Moore and Margaret (Earl) Mason.

David served in the United States Air Force from 1964 to 1968. After the service he worked at Toledo Technology from 1968 until he retired in 2010. David was a graduate of Roger High School, class of 1964. He loved being around the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. David enjoyed woodworking, computer games, puzzle books, camping, bowling, and playing a good game of horse shoes. For many years, David was a member of the American Legion Post #553 where he acquired many brothers and friends.

Left to cherish David's memory is his wife of almost 52 years, Jeannette Moore; daughter, JoAnn Moore; son, Daniel Moore; grandchildren, Eric (Ashley), Jacob, Andrew (Kendra), and Austin Thomas; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Jaxon, Joshua, Nova, and Adrienne Thomas; and sister, Marion Moore; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. David was preceded in death by his sister, Judy (Moore) Kennedy; and brother, James Mason.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made out to David's family.

Family will be receiving guests from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, Ohio 43614 (419 381 1900). Military Honors will begin at 7:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are private, and David will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery.
