David Maxwell

David "Dave" Maxwell, age 54, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on July 21, 2022, at St. Anne's Mercy Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born on May 31, 1968, in Toledo, Ohio, to Joseph and Patricia (Gross) Maxwell.
Dave went to Whitmer High School and following school, worked as a very talented diesel mechanic for over 25 years, working for many companies. He recently was working as an ITT tech, which he was enjoying. Dave was an avid sports fan, watching his favorite hockey teams and football, such as Michigan Wolverines and Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, such as camping. Dave was into music, especially Rock N' Roll; he knew every song, lyric, and the names of the band members. An animal lover, he loved dogs, especially his beloved dog, Wizard.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving mother, Patricia Maxwell; brother, Joseph (Laura) Maxwell of Poulsbo, Washington; aunt, Carol Robinson; nieces and nephews, Tara Robinson, Christopher Robinson, Justin Maxwell, and Joshua (Emerald-Ann) Maxwell; great nephew, Elend Maxwell; many cousins; and step-mom, Barbara Maxwell.
He was preceded in death and joined in Heaven by his father, Joseph Maxwell; maternal and paternal grandparents; and many aunts, uncles, and loved ones.
Dave's family would like to give a special thank you to the nursing staff and physicians in Progressive and ICU at St. Anne's Mercy Hospital, for their excellent and continuous care.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Liberty Baptist Church, 5501 Jackman Road, Toledo, Ohio, at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Caleb Presnell officiating.
