David M. Mccoy

David M. "Dave" McCoy, Jr., age 48, of Henderson, Nevada (formerly of Toledo), passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 16, 2012. He was born on June 14, 1964 in Ayers, Massachusetts to David M. McCoy, Sr., and Leslie McCoy Conti. Dave was a successful business man who spent many years in the automotive industry. He was employed with Snap-on Tools and later became owner of Protranz Automotive here in Toledo. Dave was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and also enjoyed NASCAR. He was a devoted, loving, family man and his first passion in life was his family. Dave had a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor, and could easily bring a smile to anyone's face. He was a great man and will forever be missed, loved, honored, and cherished.

He is survived by his loving wife, Delia, "Dell" McCoy; his children Mercedes McCoy, Brandy McCoy, David M. McCoy (III), Johnny "Rocky" Black, Tanya Black-Kramer, Angela Black-Klauck; grandchildren Ma-Kayla McCoy-Smith, Chloe and Kaleb McCoy, Trinity Black, Brooke and Dylan Kramer, David and Ashley Walender, Lauren and Colleen McCool, Kate and Ryan Klauck; sisters Lisa McCoy-Baldwin, Amy McCoy-Matney, Denise McCoy-Kidder, Christina Conti-DeSilvis; Brother Mark McCoy; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his father David M. McCoy Sr.; son Keith McCoy.

A celebration of Dave's life will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin in the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
