David L. Lacey, age 84, of Toledo, passed away August 17, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. David was born February 10, 1937 in Bolton, MS to Johnnie (Johnson) Jones and William Lacey.
David was a faithful member of Spring Street Baptist Church for 54 years. He was a glass handler for over 30 years at Libbey Owens Ford until his retirement. David also owned his own business, Lacey and Sons Concrete. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and camping but most of all he loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 64 years, Faith Lacey; children, Toney Lacey, Mary Lacey, Marvin (Annette) Lacey, and Charline (Tim) Collier; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and brother, William (Rozeta) Lacey Jr.
David was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Mary Lou Lacey; and brother, Harvey Lacey.
The family will receive guests Monday, August 23, 2021 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Spring Street Baptist Church, 601 Spring St, Toledo, OH 43608, where Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
