David J. Ehret
David J. Ehret, age 54, of New Albany, Indiana, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 7, 2011. He was born December 23, 1956 to Paul and Alfia (Cristaldi) Ehret in Toledo, Ohio. David was a 1974 graduate of Whitmer High School. He graduated from the University of Toledo, Cum Laude in 1978. David was a Dollar General District Manager in Kentucky for the last 9 years. Prior to that, he was with K-Mart as a Store Manager at several stores for 27 years. David was an avid collector of Coke Cola memorabilia. He also enjoyed going to car shows and car races, live country music shows and traveling to local destinations, such as the Smoky Mountains and Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, where he shopped for his next antique.
David is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Brenda (Adams) Ehret; parents, Paul and Alfia Ehret; brother, Thomas Ehret; niece, Kimberly and nephew, Stephen.
The family will receive guests Tuesday from 9:15 -10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Sylvania, 5373 Main St. with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
