David Lee Hutchinson

David Lee Hutchinson, 75, of LaGrange, KY, previously of Toledo, OH, passed to Eternal Life on Friday, March 11, 2022.

The son of Donald R. and Anna G. Hutchinson, David was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 20, 1947. He was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in LaGrange, Kentucky. Many will remember him from his years in the photo industry and as an avid collector of toy trains. David proudly served in the United States Army as a second lieutenant and previously served as Finance Officer of the American Legion Post #468 in Sylvania, OH. More recently, he served on the board of the Oldham County Libraries as treasurer and looked forward to breaking ground on the new library.

He was preceded in death by his brother, James R. Hutchinson. Left to cherish the memory of David are his wife of 48 years, Valeria Hutchinson; children, Robert L. Hutchinson (Mariana Nakashima) and Andrea M. Gieszl (Robert Earl); grandchildren, Xavier and Ruth Hutchinson and George Gieszl; sister-in-law, Carol Hutchinson and extended family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests Friday, March 18, 2022 from 4 - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd. Toledo, Ohio (419-392-9500). Graveside Services will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00 am.

Before coming to Toledo the family will receive guests at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home in LaGrange, KY on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 4-8pm with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 pm. There will be a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in LaGrange, Kentucky on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 11:00 am.

Memorial Donations can be made to Gillette Children's Foundation in David's name.
