David Fleischman

David Fleischman, age 86, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007 in Whitehouse Country Manor. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during WW II. David was employed with Chrysler Machining in Perrysburg for 18 years, retiring in 1983. Prior to that, he worked at The Andersons, Maumee for 17 years. David and his wife Jeannette retired to Newport, Oregon where they enjoyed the ocean and whale watching for 16 years.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Borges of Canby, Oregon and grandson, Leland Borges. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jeannette (Forgette) Fleischman of Maumee; children, Annette (Wayne) Smith of Toledo; Adrienne (Thomas) Begley of Dublin, Ireland; Phyllis Fleischman of Maumee; Susan (Bill) Buschmann of Maumee and David (Marcia) Fleischman of Grove City, OH and grandchildren, Sarah Fleischman; Anne and John Borges; Ben and Aaron Buschmann and Kaitlin and Conor Begley.


A Private Memorial Service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the Fleischman Family requests Memorial Contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, 2500 N Reynolds Rd. Toledo, OH 43615-2820.
