David Edward Faris

David Edward Faris, age 63, of Toledo, OH passed away January 26, 2022 at Flower Hospital. David was born April 2, 1958 in Flint, MI to Edward and Ann (Panchula) Faris. He was educated in Flint Public Schools graduating from Flint Northern High School. David enjoyed running errands for his beloved family and volunteering anywhere he was needed, especially at Shoreland Elementary School. He had a great love for music, dancing and playing cards with his nieces and nephews. David's children were his life he spent a great deal of time attending recitals, games, school functions and bonding with them. He was known to be a father figure in many people's lives, leaving an everlasting impression. David was loved for his positive attitude, he saw the good in everyone and was the life of the party. His smile will be greatly missed.

David was also preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ann Faris. He is survived by his Wife, Wasan M. Faris; children, Brandon K., Ben, Emma and Olivia Faris; brother, Ted Faris; special mother-in- law, Soad "Nana" Keriko; sisters, Karen (Dr. Kraig) Kristof and Donia Keriko; brothers, Arthur (Nagham) Keriko, Nabil (Anwar) Keriko, David (Jennifer) Keriko; a host of nieces, nephews and special family friends.

The family will receive guests Monday, January 31, 2022 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Road (419-392-9500). Mass of Celebration will begin Tuesday at 10:30 am at Christ the King Church 4100 Harvest Lane Toledo, OH 43623, a Luncheon will follow at the church.
