Dave was a good man and spent a big part of his life personifying that goal. In life he was so much...A scholar...A teacher...A mentor...A leader...A dreamer...A photographer...A traveller...An outdoorsman...and Adventurer.
As a scholar... He graduated from Bedford High, the Class of 1964. He participated in many extra curriculars including band where he played the clarinet. He then went on to Adrian College & University where in 1968 he attained his degree in teaching. He also remained a close and active supporter of the Bedford Alumni for many years after.
A teacher and mentor, Dave Snouffer spent the next 8 years mentoring and molding minds in English, Drama and Photography at North Branch High School.
Dave was a good provider ... working at North Branch High School as a teacher, Pro-Pak Ind., Great Lakes Corrugated and at Greif Corrugated as a foreman, where he retired.
As a dreamer... He used John Denver as a medium to reach a lot of people with the philosophy that coincided with his own. He ran a yahoo group initially of John Denver midis.
Dave loved to travel, from the far reaches of New England to south Florida and everywhere in between. Even going out to Arizona and Colorado.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 24, 2015 at the First Apostolic Church, 5701 W. Sylvania Ave. from 1 to 5:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center.
