David E. Bobb-Borek, 37, passed away on March 14, 2014. He was born on October 17, 1976 to Theresa Borek and Gillman Bobb in Toledo, Ohio.
David recently worked as an Automobile Transporter for Chrysler. Prior to that, he worked for many years at numerous golf courses as an Irrigation Tech. David's proudest accomplishment was pitching for Libbey High School and pitching a no-hitter to Start High School when they were #1 in the nation. He loved sports and was a life-long Ohio State fan. David's passion was writing and he wrote many songs and poems throughout his life.
David was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa, Charles Leiter; Bushia and Dzia Dzia Borek and Uncle Frank Ellis. Left to cherish his memory is his precious daughter, Brianna; parents, Theresa and Ken Borek and Gillman and Sharon Bobb; siblings, Kenneth (Tabatha) Borek and Mariah Bobb; maternal grandma, Marietta Leiter; nieces and nephews, Tristan, Jonah and Norah Borek and many close cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends, especially Crystal Rich and Elvis LaCourse.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 5:00 p.m.
