David D. Harrison

David D. "Dave" Harrison, age 63, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 in his home. He was born on September 24, 1949 to Charles and Eva (Sims) Harrison in Opp, Alabama. Dave was a C&C Machinist for over 20 years. He was a handy man, even building his home and could fix anything. He enjoyed fishing but loved nothing more than spending time with his children and grandchildren; they were the love of his life.

He was preceded in death by his mother. Dave is survived by his loving daughters, Dawn (Troy) Plotner and Jeannette (Carl) Zeiler; grandchildren, Matthew, Ashleigh and Jake; father, Chuck (Pat) Harrison; Aunt, Eloise (Paul) Goodman; sister, Mary (Joe) Lanning; former spouse and friend, Karen (Dean) Dunipace; best friends, Gary Amstutz and Dave Wismer; and many other relatives and dear friends all over.

The family will receive guests on Friday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) with Memorial Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Toledo Memorial Park.
