David F. Brazeal, a beloved figure in the Toledo community, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on February 3, 1957, in Toledo, Ohio, David lived a life filled with joy, love, and cherished memories.
A devoted family man, David was known for his infectious spirit and vibrant personality, often lighting up any room he entered. He was the life of the party, always ready with a joke or a warm smile. His laughter echoed through family gatherings, where his passion for life was evident to all who knew him.
David enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, particularly camping trips with his children where he created lasting memories and bonds. He was a proud grandfather who took immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren: Steven Smiddy, Nick Geiger, Jacob Geiger, David Hill, Destiny Hill, Mackenzie Caposell, and Joseph Caposell. His love extended to his five great-grandchildren, bringing warmth and joy to their lives as well.
An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, David dedicated every Sunday to watching football, sharing in the excitement of the game with family and friends. His passion for sports was just one of the many ways he connected with others and shared his enthusiasm for life.
David is survived by his loving daughter, Tina Caposell and her husband, Pauly; his sisters, Judy Brazeal and significant other, Frank Yunker, Beverly Black and her husband, Darrell Sr., and Jackie Brazeal; as well as a multitude of nephews, nieces, and countless friends who will miss his vibrant presence dearly.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda Brazeal, and his parents, Robert and Faye Brazeal. He is also reunited with his daughter, Tammy Cappelletty, and brothers Paul, Danny, and Gary Brazeal.
David's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, as they remember the laughter and joy he brought into their lives. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his zest for life and the unwavering love he shared with his family.
