David A. Hill

David A. "Dave" Hill, age 62 of Arlington, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. He was born July 1, 1949 to Wilfred and Olive Hill in Ravenna, Ohio. He was a graduate of Crestwood High School and attended services at Bright Road Church of Christ. Dave worked at Marathon Oil Co. in Findlay, Ohio for 10 years in the computer operations department. He also managed two locations with Radio Shack and operated Dave's D.J. Service. In his spare time he enjoyed any type of electronic gadgetry and any new technology. Most importantly were his canine companions who were most precious to him, Fennigan and Max.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Jane Major of Mantua, Ohio; nephew, Greg Major of Ravenna, Ohio; uncles, Wayne (Maxine) Hill of Eustes, Florida and Heber (Twilla) Griffin of Shreve, Ohio; aunts, Ethel Bach of Woodsfield, Ohio, Margaret Ring of Louisville, Ohio and Vashti Griffin of Ravenna, Ohio; several cousins; close friends, Tony and Sheryll Brannigan of Findlay, Ohio and Bob Roosa of Mantua, Ohio.

The family will receive guests from 2-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Ravenna Church of Christ, 3897 Summit Rd., Ravenna, Ohio 44266. Memorial Services will begin in the church at 3:00 p.m. with Minister Terry Smith officiating.
