Darrell Eugene Roach, age 86, of Hudson, Michigan passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 15, 1934 to the late Harley and Edith (Moomey) Roach.
He served in the United States Air Force. Darrell worked at Jeep for 42 years, he retired with the #1 Badge being one of the oldest employees there at the time. He enjoyed taking his family to Frankenmuth every November. In his younger years, Darrell liked roller skating and traveling to skating competitions. His other passions included golfing, backgammon, and watching Turner Classic movies. After retiring, Darrell spent most of his time with family. Loved family gatherings and cook outs, especially with his beloved grandkids.
Left to cherish Darrell's memory are his children, Gayle (Dale) Perry, Lonnie (Sherry) Roach, Christy (Greg "Sam") Szymanski, Mark (Connie) Roach, and Sherry (David) Rooks; 28 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Darrell was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly A. Roach.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made out to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
A Celebration of Darrell's Life will be held at later date.
