Darrell "Buddy" Ray Herman Jr., age 67, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at his home. A lifelong South Toledo resident, Darrell was born January 11, 1954 to Darrell and Edna (Kelley) Herman Sr.
He attended St. Peter and Paul grade school and graduated from Libbey High School. Darrell was a proud Teamster member and retired from Ivy Steel. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Cleveland Browns, Lions, and Detroit Tigers.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Steven (Angela) Herman and Greg (Connie) Elgin; brother, Ken (MaryEllen) Herman; sister, Maryann (Bob) Summerskill; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved aunt, Stella.
The family will receive guests Monday, November 29, 2021 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900).
