Darlene (Rasczyk) Sexton

Darlene A. (Rasczyk) Sexton, age 67, of Toledo passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. She was born October 5, 1945 in Toledo to Frank and Eugenia (Swat) Rasczyk. Darlene was employed at Value City for 6 years, and enjoyed conducting the children's train ride at North Towne Mall. She was a parishioner of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and a member of the 55+ Club for St. Vincent de Paul. Darlene was an avid Elvis fan and the highlight was her visit to Graceland.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Randy (Tammy) and Ryan (Minden) Sexton; grandchildren, Justin, Ashley, Dylan, Imogen and Madeline; siblings, Nancy (Mike) Koprowski, Francine (Rick) Lewandowski, Bonnie (Rob) Fountain, Kathy (Rick Frelin) Cody, Eugene (Darlene), Tony (Michael Gurtzweiler) and Tim Rasczyk; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests Friday, February 22, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo (419-473-0300) where a Scripture Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Regina Coeli Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Ebeid Hospice for their compassionate care for Darlene, and for arranging a special "Love Me Tender" serenade from Nick a.k.a. "Elvis." Memorial contributions may be made to Ebeid Hospice Residence.
