Darlene J. Green

Darlene Green, age 62, of Toledo, passed away Friday, August 16, 2013 at Alliance Community Hospital, Alliance, Ohio. She was born on October 2, 1950 to Omer and Anona (Harman) Swartz in Bradner, Ohio. Darlene was employed with Libbey Glass for over 15 years. She enjoyed playing darts, computer games and bowling. Darlene loved nothing more than the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Green; 1 sister and 4 brothers. Darlene is survived by her daughter, Dawn (John); grandchildren, Keendrea, Keenan, September and Payton; great-grandson, Bently; 6 sisters; 6 brothers; and many other relatives and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday from 2 – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
