Darlene A. Grace

Darlene Agnes (Hackett) Grace, entered into rest on August 8th, 2022 peacefully, with her family at her side. Born February 24, 1934, to Evelyn Iris (Kime) and Lester Hackett, Darlene attended Libby High School and married her lifelong partner, Willis Reed Grace on February 14, 1958. After 64 years of marriage, he survives to cherish her memory. Darlene worked at the former Doehler-Jarvis as a data entry operator for 26 years where she also made lifelong friendships who remain to this day. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed listening to jazz and spent summers attending local concerts and theater events with family and friends.

Also surviving are her sister, Kathleen (Ronald) Saam; daughter, Dianne Grace Kinkaid; grandsons, Lawrence (Jessica) Kinkaid and Martin Kinkaid; and great-granddaughter, Evelyn Grace Kinkaid; many nieces and nephews will also miss her smile, her laughter and her awesome chocolate chip cookies.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd., Toledo, OH 43613 with Funeral Mass beginning at 10:00 a.m. in church. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
