Darlene A. Ropp, age 61 of Toledo passed away after a long illness on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Mercy St. Anne Hospital. She was born November 2, 1949 to Edward and Joanna (Dutkiewicz) Cisek in Toledo. Darlene was a 1967 graduate of Roy C. Start High School and she was a retiree of Daimler Chrysler Jeep after 28 years of service.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Timothy (Jennifer) Ropp Jr.; grandchildren, Timothy Ropp III of Texas and Brendon, Ryan and Nicholas; sister-in-law, Janet Cisek; nieces, Robin (Doug), Victoria (Grant) and Teresa (Todd); uncle, John (Dorothy) Cisek and dear friends, Pat (Tom) O'Leary and their family, Tommy (Dena), Tammy, Jimmy, Tiffany, Tommy IV and Jacob and Sherry (Bob) Schwirzinski. Preceding her in death are her parents and brother, Duane Cisek.
The family will receive guests Sunday from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with a Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home on Monday followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament, 4227 Bellevue Rd. Officiating will be Rev. Martin P. Donnelly. Entombment will take place in Resurrection Cemetery.
