Danny Lee Young, age 79, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Orchard Villa Nursing Home. He was born May 1, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Edward and Grace (Clarke) Young.

Danny graduated from Waite High School, class of 1963. He worked at Peter Stamping as a fork lift driver, where he later retired after 25 dedicated years.

Danny was a member of the UAW Local 12 for over 25 years. He enjoyed being outdoors; he loved camping and fishing. When it came to music, Danny liked all kinds of genres; whether it was listening to John Denver or Elvis to Pink Floyd and the Bee Gee's, he would listen to just about anything! Danny was a family man and cherished the moments spent with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The memories will forever live on and he will be missed by all who knew him! This isn't goodbye, but we will see you again!

Those left to forever cherish his memory are his two loving children, Dawn (Craig) Kunar and Chris (Amy) Young; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and a brother, Kenneth Young.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Young, whom he married on September 14, 1963; two daughters, Kimberly Young and Susan Young; brother, Terry Young; sister, Bonnie McCarthy; and a sister-in-law, Beverly Young.

Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623 on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 10:00 am, at the funeral home. Following the service, Danny will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
