Daniel W. Halcomb

Daniel W. Halcomb, age 67, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 30, 1944 to Cyrel and Vesta (Lewis) Halcomb in Totz, Kentucky. Daniel was very loved and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Halcomb. Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Freda Halcomb; children, Rachel (John Hoak) Miller, Matt (Chrisa), Jubal (Michelle), Callie (Tony McCown) and Tracy (Kory Byrd) Halcomb; grandchildren, Sean, Bridget, Carolyn, Brandon, Cameron, Lucas, Raelynn, Danielle, Jake, Jordyn, Courtney, Cameron D., Chelsey, Sarah, Mykal, Kory Jr., Chauncey and Laurie-Anna; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Amelia, Jalynne, Katelin, Owen, Braedon, Cohen and one more great-granddaughter; sisters, Nannie, Sherry Ann, Rosalee and Verlynn; brothers, Kenneth, Bobby and Wade; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) with Funeral Services beginning at 4:00 p.m.
