Daniel T. Mccluskey

Daniel T. "Dan" McCluskey, age 61, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 6, 2014 at Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania after battling lung cancer since being diagnosed in June 2014. He was born August 2, 1953 to Harry and Ruth McCluskey in Toledo. Dan was an avid fisherman, loved to hunt deer, garden, painting ceramics and was an excellent cook. He grew up in the Birmingham neighborhood and went to Eastwood. In Dan's last year of life he enjoyed going to casinos to play the slots. He was a beloved husband, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terence McCluskey. Dan is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Cheryl McCluskey; brothers, Michael and Scott McCluskey; sister, Gail McCluskey, of Tampa, FL; and many cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday from 3 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
