Daniel G. Redmond

Daniel G. Redmond, age 58, of Minster, Ohio (formerly of Maumee, Ohio) passed away June 2, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born June 10, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio. Dan served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a Crew Chief Operator. He was a Boy Scout Leader, Amateur Radio Operator (KB8TAK) and enjoyed fishing, hunting and hiking.

Dan is survived by his loving wife, Helen Redmond; children, Missy (Doug) St. Pierre, Brian (Liz) Redmond and Mike (My'chelle) Mercer; grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle and Kent Taylor, Amber and Andrew Combs, Brittany Sopko, Jordan and Mitch Redmond; great-granddaughter, Olivia Nicholas and sister, Stefani Bailey. Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Redmond.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to Erie Shores Council Boys Scouts of America or the Amateur Radio FRAT Club in Dan's memory.
