Daniel L. Honeywell, age 68, of Holland, Ohio passed away January 18, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was born April 8, 1947 in Toledo to Alfred and Marian (Tanner) Honeywell. Dan served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a forklift technician for over 40 years. Dan was very active in his Vietnam Veteran support group. Dan loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed riding his Harley.
Dan is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marlene A. Honeywell; children, Aaron (Diana) Honeywell, Eric (Marian) Honeywell, Eva (Cory) Fritch; grandchildren, Luke Honeywell, Corbin Fritch, Arabelle Fritch, Paxton Fritch, Bryson Fritch, Joshua Cook, Tiffany (Carl) Markowski; sister, Patti (Bill) Bauer; friends, Gary Hoffman, John Heisinger, Walt McGranahan, Ron Duris and Dave Norwalk. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his grandson, Camden Fritch and brothers, Lenard and Al, Jr. Honeywell.
The family will receive guests Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11:00 am. at Holland Free Methodist Church, 6605 Angola Road, Holland, Ohio with Pastor Keith Simpson officiating.
