Daniel D. "Dan" Dusseau, age 47, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital where he was surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 12, 1966 to Elsworth "Oddie" and Catherine "Kitty" (Thornsberry) Dusseau in Toledo. Dan had a zest for life, with a very outgoing spirit and personality. He was a loving and supportive son, husband, father and brother and will be dearly missed by those who loved him. He enjoyed deer hunting with his son and friends, boating on Lake Erie with his family and friends; and rooting for his favorite football team, Pittsburgh Steeler's. Dan worked for Nissen Concrete for 10 years and he was thankful to have worked with a great group of people who cared about him a lot.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Tina (Lambdin) Dusseau; daughter, Danielle and son, Nick Dusseau; loving mother, Catherine Dusseau; sister, Robin Dusseau and brother, James Dusseau; mother in law, Sandra Lambdin; father in law, Kernie (Wanda) Lambdin; three nieces, Tera, Kelly and Michelle; a host of family members and friends. Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Elizabeth Wetzel and father, Elsworth "Oddie" Dusseau.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 5-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow the services.
The Dusseau Family would like to thank all the physicians, nurses and staff who provided such great care to Dan. Also to the Nissen Family for all of their support through his illness.
