Dana W. Crocker age 54, passed away suddenly on Friday August 7, 2015 at The Toledo Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 1, 1960 to James and Sally (Watson) Crocker. Dana graduated from Whitmer High School in 1978. Following his graduation he attended The University of Toledo, pursuing a career in Electrical Engineering. He worked over 20 years as an Electrical Systems Engineer at Matrix Technologies. Most recently, he represented Siemens Corporation as a Field Service Engineer.
Dana loved the ocean, a certified scuba diver; one of his greatest experiences was deep sea diving in the Cayman Islands. Dana's favorite thing to do was spend time working outside in the yard and swimming in his pool. Clearwater, Florida was a place he loved and hoped to retire to. Incredibly intelligent and quick witted, he was also the ultimate handyman who enjoyed working on cars and building things. Greatly devoted to his family and generous of heart, he was always willing to lend a helping hand. No words suffice to explain the ways he will be missed.
Left to honor his memory is his loving wife of 32 years, Betty J. (Kohler) Crocker; children, Cameron Crocker and Cara Crocker; father, James Crocker; brother, Douglas Crocker and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Yukon, Cheyenne, and Jesse.
A memorial service will be held at the Roche de Bout (Farnsworth Metropark) in Waterville, OH on September 6, 2015 at 1pm.
